The Optio walk behind 23kg (50lb) oscillating winter salt spreader has been manufactured with sustainability in mind. This spreader has less plastic components and is manufactured using recycled plastic, featuring a spike to pierce and secure the bag, an oscillating scoop to distribute the salt, the Optio is like no other spreader on the market making heavy work become light work.
Using brown rock salt in this spreader will damage the mechanism and shorten the life of the product. White refined de-icing salt can be used but must be cleaned thoroughly after use to avoid the salt corroding the spreader and reducing the life of the machine.
